Old wooden glazing products can start to experience a lot of problems in the home, including a lack of weather resistance in the form of draughts and leaks. Not only does the functionality start to suffer, but their appearance does too, bringing down the look and feel of a room. For this next project, we replaced an old glass roof at a property in Kingston Hill, a district of Kingston upon Thames in Surrey.
Client Brief: Installing a Flat Aluminium Glass Rooflight
We attended this London property to find out more about the replacement glazing our customer needed. We started by providing a consultation to establish their needs, looking at the existing glass roof and how they wanted to upgrade it.
The client was refurbishing a large property in Kingston Hill and wanted to replace the tired, leaky and draughty timber glass roof he had. This needed to be completed as part of the overall refurb project to complete the look of the space.
While we have a wide range of glass roofs and glazing available, our client particularly liked our aluminium roof light, feeling it would suit the look and functionality he wanted in his home.
